Why is the server down?

Why is the server down. I want to play on it xD
Also, there should be like an admin message board
Or server twitter
So admins can say when its down and why. Just an question and idea

Redstone host is being stupid, simply put. I wasn't home all day so I couldn't see the server status. The server is now up. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I am trying to resolve the problem. I contacted our host who said the problem is CraftBukkit. A recommended build has not yet been released for 1.4.6, so I am just not sure at this point. I'll try to have the server fixed in a couple days.

The server is back up, we switched hosts.
